This is a super book! You can feel the love the author shared with her horse and her close knit community.
Having been a lover of all things 4-legged since childhood, this book delighted me and brought back wonderful memories of all my "horse friends" of the past and my current best equine pal who resides at the rescue farm where I volunteer. The author totally nails the enchanting relationship between animal and human and weaves a wonderful story while doing it.
It was a charming, well-written book about delightful animals and the people who do the hard work involved in their training and care. I have always loved horses, dogs and cats and my daughter has raised, boarded and shown Arabians so it especially hit home.
